On January 18, a group of volunteers from Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) lent their time and talent to paint the residents’ living room and the dining room in the child care at our safe shelter, Serena’s House.
CSI is a professional honor society mainly comprised of students from Idaho State University who are studying to be professional counselors.
“The group was fantastic to work with and displayed such energy and enthusiasm that they finished the entire job in about three hours,” said Christine Garner, WCA Facility Services Director. “Forging partnerships with this group was an amazing experience and we would welcome them back for any future projects!”
