BeFunky CollageAt Alive After Five in July, the WCA was selected to be the nonprofit partner highlighted each week. This also meant that our awesome volunteers staffed the beverage booth and all the tips collected went to support the vital work we do for our clients — those in our community impacted by domestic abuse and sexual assault.

At the end of the month, four evenings  and 400 volunteer hours of serving drinks and these awesome, fantastic smiling volunteers raised $4,800 in tips! That is the equivalent of 40 safe bed nights for a family — with all the wrap around services that come with it to meet their needs.

Thank you to all our WCA volunteers and employees from Idaho Power, Molina Healthcare, Citi, New York Life Insurance Company for making Alive After Five Summer Concert Series a huge success!
