Welcome 2015 Corporate Pillars

Written by Lisa Uhlmann, WCA Corporate Pillar Manager

The Treasure Valley business community recognizes the value of creating a community where people thrive in safe, healthy relationships. By becoming a WCA Corporate Pillar, businesses support the life-changing journey to safety, freedom and healing for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault in our community.

The WCA’s Corporate Pillar program provides opportunities for businesses to support the WCA and its mission through financial and in-kind contributions. For 2015, 58 businesses have committed approximately $180,000 worth of in-kind goods and services and direct financial support to the WCA. While financial donations are critical to our ability to provide direct client services, contributions of in-kind goods and services that support our staff and daily operations often enhance or expand our ability to positively impact our community.

“We have many wonderful local businesses who have been invaluable supporters of the WCA and have renewed their pledge to support the work we do and their support of the journey each of our clients must take to find a life free from abuse and violence,” said Lisa Uhlmann, corporate pillars manager for the WCA. “In addition, we are so very grateful to welcome the support of several new corporate supporters for the upcoming year.”

Welcome to our newest Corporate Pillars!

Thank you to those community partners who continue to provide support, so that we can do the work we do each day to improve the health of our community and welcome to the new partners who have joined the effort. Together we can make change happen in our community!
