The countdown to the end of the year has begun and we are all immersed in the holiday season. Outside may be cold, but our hearts are warmed when we take a moment to reflect on those individuals and things that bring us joy. We are invited to say thank you and give back.
Here at the WCA we are continually reflecting on the support that we receive from our community. Our community members continually surprise and inspire us by taking a stand against domestic violence and sexual assault while helping us to provide for survivors on their road to safety, healing and freedom. We cannot thank you enough. Together we are able to help break the cycle and silence around these issues.
We hope that all of you will continue to join us and share why you give to the WCA. In the final weeks of December, we are holding our annual #WhyIGive social media campaign. We will be posting photos, videos and stories of community members sharing their reason for giving back. Each member of our community is invited to share your reason for #WhyIGive.
Join us this holiday season and post your #WhyIGive story on social media from December 19 through 31 and tag us (via tagging our page or using the hashtag #WCABoise). If you do not have your own social media account or are not comfortable tagging us, then you can send us the information here and we will share it on our page anonymously.
