Women’s and Children’s Alliance Benefits from Diners and Staff at P.F. Chang’s

To support the efforts of the Women and Children’s Alliance of Boise (WCA) and P.F. Chang’s theme of  “creating a better world,” P.F. Chang’s in Boise will sponsor an all-day Christmas extravaganza and fundraiser on Monday, December 8th, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to the WCA and two incredibly deserving families.

WCA’s mission is to provide safety, healing, and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault. This year, the WCA has chosen two deserving Boise families to be beneficiaries of the Dec 8th event hosted by P.F. Chang’s.  Not only will the families’ Christmas wish lists be filled with brand new donated toys, food, clothing, gifts and decor but cash proceeds will be used to pay medical expenses, rent and other debts so the families can enter 2015debt-free.

P.F. Chang’s employee Joshua Foulk  wrote and performed an original Christmas song to promote the fundraiser for the Women’s and Children’s Alliance.  The  video is directed and edited by Travis Bloedel, another talented P.F. Chang’s staff member. The video can be viewed on You Tube.

“The holidays are truly a time for giving and the staff at P.F. Chang’s Boise is always looking for an opportunity to give back,” said Lissa Hamilton, P.F. Chang’s Operating Partner. “This event is a favorite amongst our employees and the WCA is truly a worthy cause.  I couldn’t be more proud of this team and what they’ve accomplished in the spirit of community.”

P.F. Chang’s Boise has recently remodeled and has rolled out a fantastic new menu filled with classic Asian favorites and new innovative dishes. In addition to P.F. Chang’s attentive staff and newly elevated Asian cuisine, attractions will include traditional carolers from the College of Idaho Chamber Singers, participation by Santa and his elves, seasonal holiday décor and free gifts for all supporters.

On Monday, December 8th, customers will have the option of designating 20% of their tabs for donation to the WCA.  P.F. Chang’s will absorb all costs.  Some restrictions apply.  The customers’ bills will be the same whether they donate or not.  P.F. Chang’s hospitality team members working the night of the event have volunteered to donate 20 percent of all gratuities to the WCA.  To make a reservation and be a part of the day guests are encouraged to call 208-342-8100 or to go online and make a reservation at pfchangs.com.  Guests ordering take-out can also participate in the donation event.

P.F. Chang’s is located at 391 South 8th Street in Boise.  Phone 208-342-8100.  The event is supervised by Operating Partner Lissa Hamilton and the P.F. Chang’s Certified National Training Team.  For further information or to set up media interviews, please contact Lissa Hamilton,  208-695-5029, lissa.hamilton@pfchangs.com.
